Jumping to Conclusions
10. Me looking suitably coy (and wrongly dressed) prior to the Jumping to Conclusions signing session at a local bookstore.
Walking on Air
11. It pays to advertise....

12. While researching Walking on Air, I not only did the pretty twiddly bits, but had to get down and dirty with the mechanicals, too, to make sure everything was technically accurate. This is me looking smug (and sensibly dressed for once) after mastering the intricate internal workings of the Boeing Stearman radial engine.

13. With planes, pilots and wingwalkers from the Utterly Butterly Barnstormers at the launch party for Walking on Air. Oh, and a lot of brave and important people from WH Smith who had no idea just what they were in for...

14. And away I go....!!!!
Nothing to Lose

15. This is Nenagh, John and Hilary Johnson's totally gorgeous rescued racing greyhound, to whom Nothing to Lose is part-dedicated, and who inspired me to write the book. It was love at first sight when I met Nenagh, and her story (rescued by John and Hilary after being surplus to requirements having won 27 of her 130 races) touched me immensely. Much as I love greyhound racing, I wanted to show both sides of the sport, and bring attention to the amazing work that groups like the Retired Greyhound Trust do in re-homing these wonderful dogs.
From Tickled Pink to Love Potions

16. The Bookstore, my lovely local book shop, gave me a
whole window to myself for a magical backlist mass-signing party day. I drank
far too much and shouldn’t have worn orange…
